Started working in the family business in 2002. Worked from home for 14 years to be there for her children, working flexibly, being present for both her immediate and extended family. Now championing the value of the individual and empowering them to work in whatever way they can.

Former business owner, now retired, working with KBS to support the business with strategic decisions. As a business owner of nearly thirty years, Martin had a breadth of skills and experience to bring to KBS.

Sarah joined our team 6 years ago bringing a fresh perspective to the life work balance we all needed. Her expertise lie in strategic relationships, quality management and delivering our suite of CPD’s . Sarah works part-time and flexibly which benefits her, her family and the business.

A veteran with 22 years military service in the British army, Kelly is a hugely dynamic and supportive member of the team. She has now been persuaded to keep her hours to under 34.5 per week to encourage her to improve her life/work balance. Kelly is totally client focused, managing our major clients with her excellent knowledge of their sites, assets and jobs.

Experienced life safety systems engineer, Kyle brings extensive programming and commissioning experience to the team. Kyle is knowledgeable, reliable and kind and brings a lot to our team. Kyle supports our flexible ethos which compliments his family’s needs.

Ricky Dunlop

A window controls specialist, Ricky started his career installing and maintaining manual window controls and progressed into smoke vents and electrical controls. A very considerate, capable and supportive team member who works flexibly, balancing career and family.

Chris Slivinski

Commissioning Engineer

Chris Slivinski

Chris is a qualified alarm engineer who compliments the team's skill set with a good range of fire alarm experience, from installation to commissioning. He is knowledgeable and adds much to our work and processes as well as taking the role of morale manager for the engineering team to heart. A father of two who joined us specifically for our company ethos, having been recommended to do so by the other engineering team members.

Olivia Caldwell

Olivia Caldwell

Olivia joined us age 21 for her first ever job. She has consented to us sharing that she has complex needs and cannot always make it to work. We have provided a workload that is not time specific but which she works through with great skill, allowing her to hold down a job for the first time ever. She is a great addition to the team and brings a multitude of skills including an aptitude with websites, tech and systems

Pamela O’Malley

Pamela possesses expert administration and organisation skills and has enhanced KBS with her excellence in systems, positive attitude and confident customer care. Pamela makes a fantastic team member with her motivation, dedication, great communication and problem solving skills.

We work with Scottish government to support improvement of ventilation standards and wider construction practices, as well as being involved in networks such as the CSIC, WES and Working Families. We measure our success by the impact we have on our team, clients and society.
