Salary: £42,000 – £47,000 (depending on skills and experience). Final package will be discussed at interview.

About the role

We’re looking for an Engineering Supervisor to lead our small but highly skilled engineering team, delivering smoke and comfort ventilation projects across Scotland. You’ll oversee installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair works, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for an experienced supervisor (or a senior engineer ready for the next step) who can combine technical knowledge with strong leadership and client-handling skills.

We're looking for someone with

  • Proven experience leading or supervising engineering teams.
  • Background in life-safety, smoke ventilation, or building services.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (BS 7346-8, EN12101).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to lead, influence, and build positive relationships with team members, clients, and contractors..
  • A clean, valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland (minimal overnight stays).
  • SMSTS/SSSTS or equivalent certification (or willingness to achieve).
  • Valid CSCS or ECS card (or relevant qualifications that allow you to obtain one)
