Clydebank Leisure Centre

Natural ventilation control provided by Kilpatrick Blane Services benefits this award winning leisure centre built on the bank of the River Clyde.

About The Project

Clydebank Leisure Centre is a renewed sport and leisure facility built by BAM in a prominent position at Queens Quay on the banks of the River Clyde.

Completed in 2017, the building – designed by Kennedy Fitzgerald Architects – won the RIAS award recognising it as one of the best buildings in Scotland in 2018.

To provide Natural Ventilation to a number of areas of the building, actuated rooflights were built into the fabric of the building and Kilpatrick Blane Services were subsequently commissioned to install and commission the required control solution to allow them to be automated. Kilpatrick Blane are also delighted to have been retained to provide service facilities to the building.
